About

James Mori, LAC, LPC, serves as Program Coordinator at Denver Mental Health and Counseling by The Recovery Village, where he leads the clinical team and oversees the delivery of comprehensive intensive outpatient programming (IOP), along with individual and family therapy services. A licensed addiction and professional counselor with advanced addiction training, James brings both strong clinical expertise and steady leadership to the program.

Under his direction, the IOP program delivers evidence-based, results-driven care grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while integrating Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology interventions, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Logotherapy. This integrated approach allows the team to meet clients where they are and support meaningful, sustainable change.

James is passionate about building a collaborative clinical culture focused on accountability, compassion, and excellence, ensuring every client receives structured, individualized care designed to promote long-term recovery and resilience.
