Denver Mental Health and Counseling by The Recovery Village offers comprehensive outpatient care to people struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.

Denver Mental Health and Counseling by The Recovery Village delivers evidence-based, personalized addiction and mental health treatment programs to the Greater Denver area. Our facility provides comprehensive and compassionate care to people struggling with substance use and mental health disorders, including two levels of outpatient treatment, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and individual and group therapy.

Our Treatment Philosophy

Denver Mental Health and Counseling recognizes addiction as a mental health disorder. Our team treats addiction in the same way as any mental health condition — by treating the emotional, mental and physical symptoms simultaneously while addressing the root cause.

We accomplish this by giving clients access to addiction experts, personalized treatment plans tailored to meet their needs, and other resources for healing. We treat the whole person instead of focusing only on their addiction and make sure to address underlying issues that can contribute to substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Our Core Beliefs

At Denver Mental Health and Counseling by The Recovery Village, we believe that:

  • Anyone can recover from addiction.
  • Every patient deserves respectful, compassionate care.
  • Addiction is a disease that can be treated with evidence-based care backed by research.
  • Treating substance use and mental health conditions simultaneously can lead to lasting healing.
  • Recovery is a journey that requires a lifelong commitment.

Our Leadership Team and Staff

Treatment at Denver Mental Health and Counseling is led by a board-certified Medical Director and Clinical Director. Patients work with experienced, licensed behavioral health specialists, including physicians, counselors, social workers and nurses.

Our trained staff ensures patient safety and attends to each client’s specific needs during their recovery. Every Advanced Recovery Systems facility, including Denver Mental Health and Counseling by The Recovery Village, meets and exceeds local and national standards for addiction and behavioral health care practices.

Our Community Outreach Team

Our dedicated outreach team works with other local professionals, including hospitals, therapists, social workers and other treatment centers, to connect more people struggling with addiction or mental health to the recovery resources they need.

In addition to being a resource for our community partners, we also offer Continuing Education programs led by qualified experts in behavioral health. These events help health care professionals fulfill required continuing education hours and continue to provide informed care to their patients and clients.

Our Editorial Team

Sharing accurate information about addiction and mental health combats the stigma surrounding these issues and connects more people to life-saving treatment for themselves or a loved one. That’s why we work with an expert team of medical reviewers, writers and editors to publish valuable, up-to-date and accurate information about addiction, treatment and recovery resources. Our editorial team covers the facts, risks, and available treatment options to help you make informed decisions about addiction treatment and plan your long-term recovery.
